I just got up and wandered over to get a piece or two of leftover Halloween candy, and I saw the sky out one of our impossibly large windows with the 30-story views.

Soft sun, tender clouds, a melancholy ending.

Too bad we're getting slammed with rain tomorrow.

Actually, I'm excited about the rain. It's been six months since we've had rain.

Six months is too long to be deprived of anything.
